Photos: Vice President Yemi Osinbajo flags off construction of Lagos-Ibadan railway line

Vice president Yemi Osinbajo today flagged off the construction work for the $1.5bn standard gauge rail line from Lagos to Ibadan. The proposed156.65km Lagos-Ibadan rail is a double line, which is the first phase of a new Lagos-Kano standard gauge line.

The Federal government has already released N72bn counterpart funding for the rail project. The project is expected to be completed within the next 18 months. More photos below...

A Zimbabwean teacher from Lupane was on Friday, February 17, 2017, kidnapped, drugged and gang-raped by four women, suspected to be 'Sperm harvesters.'
