A set of conjoined twins were delivered in Plateau state specialist hospital, Jos, Plateau  state yesterday morning 2nd December at 28weeks gestation. They were joined at the thorax and abdomen but with one pair of upper and lower limbs (Dicephalic twins) and weighed 1.4kg. Unfortunately, they didn't survive. See more photos after the cut...

Nigeria's Super Falcons this evening beat Cameroon's female National team, Indomitable Lioness, 1-0, to emerge the winners of the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations. Desire Oparanozie scored the only goal that gave Nigeria victory in the match which was played at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Omnisports Stadium in Yaoundé. Barcelona were just seconds away from recording a massive win against rivals Real Madrid in the El Classico  on Saturday  evening, when Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos leaped and scored at the last minute of normal time to keep up Madrid's title ambitions with a 1-1draw against Barcelona at the Camp Nou. Who says Chelsea can't win the premier league this season? Chelsea proved  on Saturday  that if there's any team that deserves to win this season it's themselves as they came from behind to whitewash Man City 3-1 at the Etihad. Pep Guardiola's side, title contenders themselves, took the lead shortly before the break as Chelsea defender Gary Cahill deflected a Jesus Navas cross into his own net while Azpilicueta and Thibaut Courtois watched on. Chelsea reacted in superb fashion as goals from Diego Costa, Willian and Eden Hazard in the 60th, 70th and 90th minute ensured a great win and a great dent on premier league poster boy Pep Guardiola's title ambitions. It was also a very emotional and intense match as Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho almost started a fight while Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho were both sent off late on, after a dangerous tackle on David Luiz. Video taken in Venezuela has revealed how vendors trick customers into parting with a little more money. The people in the video are seen blowing up raw chickens with their mouths to make them feel heavier so they can charge a higher price for the birds. They blow into the mouth of chickens for several seconds then seal it up so the air does not escape. According to reports, chickens which weigh 2kg on the store scale drop to as little as 1.5kg when deflated at home. There are now concerns that as well as ripping the public off, the practise of inflating chickens could spread disease. Watch the video below:

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has hailed the Federal High Court, Abuja judgement, ordering the release of the leader of the Shi’ite Muslim sect, Ibrahim Zakzaky and his wife, as well as payment of payment of N50 million damages awarded against the Department of State Service (DSS). The governor, who had called for the release of El-Zakzaky two weeks ago, however said he won't be surprised if the federal government does not obey the judgment, adding that; "The judgement will be for posterity even if in their usual style of impunity, those holding power in Abuja ignore the judgment."
